About Portland Goldendoodles

When I was introduced to a Goldendoodle for the first time back in 2005 while attending college in Santa Barbara; I fell in love immediately with their good natured disposition, leader loyalty, intelligence, darling look, and that soft, shed free coat! Then in 2007 I found Klutch in Portland, Oregon. I was graduating college in Chico & the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. Klutch was a part of a litter of 12 and spent his early puppyhood days with 12 of his cousins as well. So he basically was surrounded by 23 puppies for the first 8 weeks of his life. Klutch’s father’s name is Crash and he has a super red straight coat. Klutch’s mother’s name is Angel and is has a very white curly coat. Both parents are F1 first generation goldendoodles, that makes Klutch a F2 second generation goldendoodle.

When raising him during his puppyhood we had so much fun exploring together, from the acres of land & watering holes in Chico to the San Diego beaches. We moved to San Diego after I graduated from Chico in 2007. We both were instantly hooked to the beach. Del Mar dog beach became our everyday routine, and Klutch was in heaven. I started my career in Website Development & Marketing and soon started my own business from home developing websites, designing websites and implementing marketing strategies (SEO, SEM, SMM & PPC) for a wide variety of clientele. Ever since I was a little girl I have always wanted to raise dogs. I never had the chance to fulfill that dream until I graduated college with my Business & Marketing Degrees.

After moving to Portland Oregon in 2010; where my dad has lived since I was a little girl, I knew it was the perfect time to find Klutch a companion & a playmate. I searched for a year to find the right female F2 goldendoodle with light blue / green eyes. Then one day after feeling frustrated & giving up for several months I found Blitza! She was exactly 8 weeks old, I bought her the next day & brought her home. She was the only female of the litter to inherit her fathers gorgeous eyes that can only be passed through by a chocolate goldendoodle or poodle. Since a puppy she has had the most fun & calm personality. Blitza was so easy to train, I feel so lucky to have found her! She especially loves children, gently going up to them to say hi, and give kisses. When you pet her she will literally stare into your eyes as if she can see into your soul. She can read body language & commands very easily. She is a very fast runner with an extremely strong body structure. Over time her eye color has changed now to green & golden.

It wasn't long before I knew I wanted to share the wonderful quality & rare traits of my two dogs with everyone, and Portland Goldendoodles was created. We kept a puppy from Blitza and Klutch's 2nd and final litter. We named him Falkor after the Flying Dragon in the Never-Ending story. 6 months later we found him a chocolate goldendoodle mate named Fancy. They have now had 3 very large and healthy litters together in 2017, 2018 & 2019. Together they produce all colors of the doodle rainbow; Chocolate, Apricot, Cream and Black and some with light blue & green eyes. We have added a second mate for Falkor named Halo. She has the gorgeous goldendoodle traits with soft long hair that doesn't get too curly. All of our goldendoodle's are completely health tested before breeding with Excellent Hip results and genetic clearance.

Here at Portland Goldendoodles we take great pride raising top quality goldendoodle puppies, both parents and grandparents are health tested throughout the lines and simply fabulous temperaments. Small quality over quantity breeder, one litter of Goldendoodles at a time given lots of love and socializing.

I have chosen healthy, smart and beautiful dogs with amazing personalities for breeding gorgeous goldendoodle puppies! We now have 6 goldendoodles total, Klutch, Blitza, Falkor(their son), Fancy, Halo & now Hazel(Fancy & Falkor's daughter). They are 100% shed free and hypo-allergenic. Their temperament is absolutely perfect, sweet, loving, patient, great with kids and easygoing. These dogs have lived up to the breeds reputation of intelligence and ease of training. Their coats are curly or wavy and soft and fluffy like cashmere.

Here at Portland Goldendoodles we want to be sure you will be receiving a happy, healthy and well adjusted puppy. When you pick up your puppy, he/she will be current on all shots and deworming, have a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian and a 2 year health guarantee. Your puppy will already be piddle pad trained & potty trained to also go outside where nature calls. Both are a very important when beginning to potty training and teach good puppy behavior. These puppies spend a lot of time playing with each other and being loved our family, with this in mind, we have already been gently teaching them good manners about where they belong in the command chain with people, what to chew on and not to bite people. Our goldendoodle puppies are held and loved since the day they were born. I have raised them in my home, surrounded and exposed to normal household noises to help acclimate them to everyday life. Our puppies have daily neurostimulation to help in agility and coordination. This also reduces the reflex to pull their paws back when attempting to clip their nails.
